Welcome to Dallas-Stars-Fans, the only (from what I can tell) group on Deviant Art dedicated to the Dallas Stars of the NHL! Don't worry, those of you who were Minnesota North Stars fans, you're not forgotten. (Trust me. I was a North Stars fan, and my love of the team migrated with them.) Whether you're an artist, pretend to be one, or just are on dA to enjoy the talents of others, you're welcome to the group!
There are a few rules, however. Three, to be exact.
1) NO EXPLICIT IMAGERY
. In other words, if it's tagged as "mature content", it probably won't be allowed. There are people under the age of 18 on here, and some people may object to that. If your submission breaks this rule, it will be removed. There is one exception, however...
2) BLOOD MAY BE ALLOWED
. Let's face it: hockey is violent. Blood is a part of the sport, whether we like it or not. However, these instances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If it is something that the admins deem as crossing the line, again, it will be removed. (As of now, I'm the only admin, and I'm pretty...open...to this.)
3) NO FLAME WARS/BASHING OTHER MEMBERS
. Everyone likes different players/teams/whatnot. While this group focuses primarily on the Stars/North Stars, that doesn't mean that fans of other teams aren't going to be in the group, and not everyone is going to like every player that has ever played for the team. Also, not everyone is a super awesome artist. Please treat others how you would like to be treated: after all, we are all (mostly) adults.
As long as it passes rules one and two, any type of art is allowed. Drawings, paintings, photos, photo manipulations, sculptures, fabric arts, custom figures, even literature! Both admins and members alike can submit deviations, whether or not you submitted the deviation.
Any questions? Send over a note. It may take a day or two, but I will get back to you.
EDIT 14-MAR-13: Evidently, dA doesn't automatically set up groups so that people can, you know...join them. (I'm trying to figure out how that makes sense...). This should be fixed. Sorry!
